Additional Terms and Conditions for the offer

• About – Clearchoice Plus allows you to change your flight for the same destination by only paying for the fare difference between the flights and not having to incur the amendment and convenience fees that accompany it. Clearchoice Plus is not applicable in the event of flight cancellation.
• The convenience fee and amendment fee will have to be initially paid by the customer. Upon booking of the rescheduled flight and receipt of confirmed payment by Cleartrip, our insurance partner Digit will reach out to the customer via email with the details of the refund.
• Refund Calculation: The total amount refunded to the customer comprises: amendment fee + Cleartrip’s convenience fee and is subject to a maximum cap of ₹3,550/- (Rupees Three Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty Only). For booking where the rescheduled flight fare is lower than the amendment fee, the refund to the customer comprises: booking fare + Cleartrip’s convenience fee.
• Difference between original flight fare and rescheduled flight fare: (i) When the rescheduled flight fare is lower than the original flight fare, the customer will be refunded the amount paid by the customer subject to a maximum of ₹3,550/- (Rupees Three Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty Only); and (ii) When the rescheduled flight fare is higher than the original flight fare, then the customer shall be refunded the amendment fee + the Cleartrip convenience fee subject to a maximum of ₹ 3,550/- (Rupees Three Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty Only).
• Period of rescheduling: Unless specified otherwise by the airline fare rules, Clearchoice Plus allows you to make changes as late as up to 12 hours except for Air India* & Vistara* ( as late as up-to 24 hours ) before the original departure time. Clearchoice Plus allows the customer to advance the travel up to 10 days prior to the original departure date and up to 60 days post the original departure date.
• Multiple rescheduling for single passenger: Clearchoice Plus is applicable only for a one-time rescheduling request i.e., once per flight only. Multiple changes shall be treated as standard fare bookings and amendment fee and Cleartrip convenience fee will be applicable.
• Rescheduling for multiple passengers: Tickets purchased using Clearchoice Plus for multiple passengers can be changed as per the convenience of the customer. Changes for all passengers can be made at once or each passenger per flight. Changes for just 1 of the multiple passengers can also be made.
• Clearchoice Plus allows changes for round trip journeys as well, either in one request or separate requests, as per the convenience of the customer.
• Clearchoice Plus fare once paid is non-refundable. Thus, once a flight booked with Clearchoice Plus is cancelled, the Clearchoice Plus fare paid by the customer shall not be refunded. The airline fare amount will be refunded as per the respective airline policy.
• Cleartrip reserves the right at any time, without prior notice and liability and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part and to withdraw Clearchoice Plus at any time in its sole discretion.

In this case, each traveler is individually eligible for a one-time free cancellation or rescheduling request for date and airline change. The changes can be made for all travelers together, or each one individually

What happens if the airline cancels my flight?

In this case,you will be refunded premium and airline fare. After intimation from the airlines about the cancellation, you may initiate the ticket cancellation process on Cleartrip.

• To realize the Clearchoice Max product benefit, the customer has to cancel the booking on the Cleartrip website or mobile application after which Cleartrip will get in touch with the customer. The cancellation should be done by the customer at least 24 hours before the departure time of the flight. Upon successful cancellation, the refund amount will be credited to the original mode of payment within 8 to 10 calendar days, from the date of booking cancellation.
• Clearchoice Max refund shall include

•   Base fare, including the taxes of the flight ticket.
•   Convenience fee charged by Cleartrip.
•   Any additional amount paid for additional baggage or seat/meal. Cleartrip shall also not charge any cancellation charges for bookings made using Clearchoice Max.

• For any rescheduling of the flight by the airline, if the cancellation of such rescheduled flight is done at least 24 hours prior to the original flight departure time, the Clearchoice Max benefit shall be applicable.
• Clearchoice Max benefit does not includes the following amount:

• Any discount availed at the time of booking or any cash-back that is processed after the booking is complete.
•  The Clearchoice Max fare paid at the time of booking the ticket.
• Any other additional ancillary travel product such as insurance, baggage loss security, etc., that is purchased from the Cleartrip booking platform at the time of booking.

• Clearchoice Max benefit shall not be paid out only during the following scenarios:

• If the cancellation, for any reason whatsoever, is done less than 24 hours before the departure time.
• If the booking in question has been amended/rescheduled by the customer.

• Cancellation in the case of a round trip – Under Clearchoice Max, the customer can get flight fare refund in the following scenarios:

•   All the tickets (including onwards and return) are canceled together.
•   Partial ticket cancellation wherein, one way (onward or return) tickets are canceled.
•   Partial ticket cancellation wherein, few of the passenger tickets are canceled and other passengers continue with the flight booking.

• Cleartrip reserves the right at any time, without prior notice and liability and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part and to remove Clearchoice Max at any time in its sole discretion from its platform.
• Cleartrip is the sole authority for interpretation of these terms
• Cleartrip shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising due to force majeure event
• In no event the entire liability of Cleartrip under this offer shall exceed the booking amount that is paid by the customer
• Cleartrip shall not be liable to for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Clearchoice Max product
• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India and the courts at Bangalore will have exclusive jurisdiction over any matters/disputes arising out of or in relation to Clearchoice Max.

• The customers are not forced in any way to avail Clearchoice Max and it is purely customers’ prudent judgment to avail the Clearchoice Max.
